Get there before dusk

I better start drinking coffee in the mornings. Things are waiting ahead. And besides, it cures the big D and sadness too [at least for a while]. Oh and no milk.

March 13: Human Rights In Myanmar
Posted by ayate at 03:16 PM on March 12, 2004 as a favorite post.
March 13 is the Human Rights Day in Myanmar [Burma]. It's been like one and a half decades now and we're still not there yet. Sad but true.

Make my voice a crime
I will cry out louder
Silence my voice
I will find another
Make my word a crime
I will create a new one
Hunt me down
I will find a new place to hide
Lock me away
Tens will rise to take my place
You cannot silence me
You cannot stop me
I and my kind are forever.

Failed Experiment 1

The idea was not my brainchild but hey I like it. It's about a hero who trades Sadness & Joy. First, I would buy some joy with sadness. Then increase the price of joy, sell, and buy a lot more sadness with that money. Then the following sadness should get some joy with lower price. Stop the business while joy is at hand. That's the whole idea. Haha. Yea you might want to talk to him sometimes too.

The Attrition
Posted by ayate at 06:39 PM on March 24, 2004.
No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man
Behind blue eyes
And no one knows
What it's like to be hated
To be faded to telling only lies
But my dreams they aren't as empty
As my conscious seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance
That's never free
No one knows what its like
To feel these feelings
Like i do, and i blame you!
No one bites back as hard
On their anger
None of my pain woe
Can show through
Discover l.i.m.p. say it
No one knows what its like
To be mistreated, to be defeated
Behind blue eyes
No one know how to say
That they're sorry and don't worry
I'm not telling lies
No one knows what its like
To be the bad man, to be the sad man
Behind blue eyes.

CD Covers
Posted by ayate at 04:37 PM on March 27, 2004.
A very old friend talked to me a couple of weeks ago. He said he's gonna sing and make a music CD so he wanted me to take care of the cover design. His album title was something like 'Afraid to Forget' in English. He also mentioned that he became very picky these days and wanted to see as many options as possible so that he could choose the one he likes the most. And he told me that it would be nice if the design is clean and has a sense of humor too. I made three cover design and passed to him. But too bad, he didn't like any of them that much and eventually picked an old design work of mine for his CD cover. Haha, what the?
So what do you think? I personally like #3 but the rest are boring. Did I lose my sense of humour in them?
